Two blogs in one day... This one's for you Gab'¬¬

I know the last blog was some what depressing but how things can change in the space of 15 minutes or so...

My beautiful flat mate read my blog as soon as I posted it and heated up some custard for me and hand-delivered it to me (in her towel), with a smile on her face!

How can I possibly let a bad couple of hours overrule a brief meeting and handing over of custard!!?

I can't.

It's people like her who can see sunshine in the darkest day - people like her who can turn a frown upside down a million times, that remind me how much there is to be happy about.

I'm now sitting, with another spliff in my hand, with no fear of it rolling into the sea!
I'm listening to the video posted on my FB wall by the very same custard-giving girl, and it just so happens to be BOB MARLEY - Don't Worry, Be Happy!
She's a saint!!

Optimism is a mental attitude that interprets situations and events as being best (optimized), meaning that in some way for factors that may not be fully comprehended, the present moment is in an optimum state. The concept is typically extended to include the attitude of hope for future conditions unfolding as optimal as well. The more broad concept of optimism is the understanding that all of nature, past, present and future, operates by laws of optimization along the lines of Hamilton's principle of optimization in the realm of physics. This understanding, although criticized by counter views such as pessimism, idealism and realism, leads to a state of mind that believes everything is as it should be, and that the future will be as well. A common idiom used to illustrate optimism versus pessimism is a glass with water at the halfway point, where the optimist is said to see the glass as half full, but the pessimist sees the glass as half empty.

Time to do some work now.. with optimistic eyes, seeing that once I've done my work, I will feel better for it. YES MATE!
